TikTok recently unveiled a new suite of creative solutions powered by AI called Symphony, aiming to transform how content is created and consumed on the platform. According to the platform, this new suite is “designed to make content creation easier than ever for marketers and creators alike, simplifying the creative process while scaling it to new dimensions.”

Symphony is TikTok’s answer to the growing demand for dynamic and efficient content creation tools. This suite leverages advanced generative AI technologies to streamline the creative process, making it easier for users to produce high-quality, engaging content with minimal effort. The suite includes a range of tools designed to assist in various aspects of content creation, from video generation to chatbot assistance and digital avatars.

Video Generation 

At the heart of the Symphony suite is its video generation tool. This powerful feature allows users to create short, captivating video clips from an existing asset or even directly from a product URL. This tool is particularly beneficial for businesses looking to quickly produce promotional content without the need for extensive video editing skills or resources.

The process is straightforward: users simply input a product URL or upload an existing asset, and the AI does the rest. It analyzes the content and generates a visually appealing video that highlights the key features and benefits of the product. This not only saves time but also ensures that the resulting videos are optimized for engagement on TikTok’s platform. 

Once the video is generated, the script can be translated and the voiceover dubbed into multiple languages with a few clicks for global reach. All videos created through Symphony will also be labeled as AI-generated to let audiences know that the content was crafted with the technology.

These avatars offer quick, accessible, and cost-effective narration options, with customizable voices and accents to best fit a brand’s needs.

Custom Avatars, on the other hand, provide a more personalized touch. They can represent a creator or brand spokesperson with multi-language abilities, allowing creators to expand their global reach by leveraging their own likeness in multi-lingual avatars. Brands can create Custom Avatars using their IP, spokesperson, or a partnered creator to localize global campaigns effectively. This flexibility helps brands collaborate with creators worldwide and enhance their marketing efforts.

Currently, TikTok is testing Custom Avatars with its community of creators, exploring new possibilities for content generation and audience engagement. 

Symphony Assistant

Another notable feature of the new creative suite is Symphony Assistant, the AI-powered virtual assistant formerly known as Creative Assistant. This tool is designed to help you throughout your creative journey on the app, helping to brainstorm ideas, implement best practices, identify trends, and find inspiration. TikTok provided a few suggested prompts to get you started with Symphony Assistant: 

  1. Find out what’s trending on TikTok: “Show me what’s trending on TikTok.”
  2. Learn how to create for TikTok: “I am new to creating videos on TikTok. What are some best practices I need to know before starting?”
  3. Gather inspiration with a research companion: “Show me top-performing TikTok ads in the [industry] industry.”
  4. Brainstorm TikTok ideas: “Come up with TikTok ideas for my brand named [name], promoting [topic].”
  5. Write and refine your TikTok scripts: “Write a TikTok ad script for my [industry] brand named [name], targeting [market] and [target audience]. Highlight these benefits in the script: [benefits].”
